The ASTRA Foundation was established to ensure that efforts to give back to society are integrated into the make-up of each business entity under the ASTRA Group. Over the years, the foundation has developed a wide range of programs in aid of the underprivileged in Malaysia.

Yayasan ASTRA (as it is locally called) has established critical educational programs including child sponsorship and scholarship schemes to ensure that children gain access to quality education, no matter what their background.

The foundation has also been involved in infrastructure development such as building educational facilities and multi-purpose halls for impoverished communities. It has also made monetary contributions to hardcore poor families, orphanages and other underprivileged segments, all in the name of giving back to the society.
